The Parts Associate will handle all duties relative to parts and accessories receipt and shipment. Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records. Imagine working every day around motorcycles and motorcycle people. When customers walk through our door, they do so with an excitement and passion for this sport. Your job is to keep their excitement high. If you do that, they will keep coming back and most importantly, riding their motorcycle. We want you to enjoy your job and make it fun for our customers. Do that and we will all be successful.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer knowledgeable a must
  • Strong background in the Motorsports industry
  • Prefer interest or experience in Motorsports industry
  • Mechanic background/experience a plus
  • Highly organized with ability to multi-task across multiple projects; excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Requires excellent communication skills to deal with customers and employees
  • Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

This is a full time position and wage is based on experience.

All technician / mechanic candidates must have 1 year experience as a repair tech of motorcycles. Basic understanding of computers. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and move at a fast pace. Moving of vehicles by hand is also required. Those with confidence and a positive attitude in addition to a keen attention to detail are most successful here.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 1 year of Motorcycle/Powersports or Automotive Dealership experience.
  • OEM certifications preferred.
  • Provide your own basic tools.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Diagnose and repair two and four stroke engines.
  • Remove and replace defective frame and body parts, using hand tools, arbor presses, flexible power presses, or other tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Perform preventative and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect vehicles, and identify additional recommended services.
  • Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job.
  • Explain diagnostic test results to Service Manager, and if necessary, the customer.
  • Perform test rides and other tests.

Service Advisors ensure that every customer has a reliable and trustworthy product. Whether that be a motorcycle, ATV, generator, or lawn mower, our customers deserve this assurance. You are the center of communication for service/repair activities and the liaison between customers and the technicians. You will serve as the primary point-of-contact for all service and repair matters, listen to and thoroughly understand customer problems, arrange for appropriate service/repairs, and set/manage expectations on the part of the customers and the technicians in terms of service delivery. You will make sure the customer knows what repairs are needed and what repairs and maintenance are recommended. Our guests don’t necessarily want to have to bring their babies in, but our Service Advisors ensure that they are satisfied that their equipment will be repaired right the first time and in the shortest time possible.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • At least one year of direct Service Advisor experience with related computer skills; CDK experience get first place in line for interviews
  • Motorcycle Endorsement required

Cycles 128 is a high volume, multi-line, motorcycle, power sports and power equipment dealer located on the north shore. Our diverse product lines keep us busy year round. As part of the New England Power Sports Group of five stores, we offer numerous advancement opportunities for the right people.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Move and prepare motorcycles for service techs, sales people and customers.
  • Verify paperwork and keys for all units incoming and outgoing.
  • Ensure all inventory is clean and polished. and organized daily.
  • Verify units are ready for delivery: registration, bike serviced, cleaned and ready to go.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including Weekends, Holidays, and evenings.
  • Maintaining displays, cleaning, and following merchandising plans.
  • Work closely with Sales, Service and Parts Departments to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Staying up-to-date with our brand and product knowledge, company information, sales and company-wide events.
  • Truly becoming a resource to our customer base.
  • General daily store and lot maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • You must be a motorcycle enthusiast.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement.
